Almond Oil – Food for the Skin
Almond oil is easily absorbed into the skin and therefore is renowned dating back 3000 years as a natural moisturizer and emollient for the face and body. It is commonly used for anointing the body in various herbalized formulations as well as alone in pure form. It is a mild, light oil, rich in unsaturated fats, essential fatty acids and a variety of vitamins and minerals, including Vitamins D and E.
Almond Oil is good for all skin types. When used regularly it acts as an anti-aging skin tonic, anti-irritant, anti-inflammatory, and anti-itching agent while it moisturizes, nourishes, softens and soothes the skin. It is especially good for wrinkles and eczema, it absorbs quickly into the skin, leaving it soft and non-greasy. A few drops on the face and around the eyes produces a soft glowing complexion.
