Mudbath Ingredients

Emblic Myrobalan (Amalaki), Mango-Ginger (Amraharidra), Pistacia integemima (Karkarshrungi), Nut Grass (Njagamustak), Himalayan Silver Fir (Talispatra), Embelia tsenam (Vidang), Sweet Flag (Vacha), bonduc nut (Kashtaki Karanj), Chebulic Myrobalan (Haritaki), Beleric Myrobalan (Bibhitak), Lesser galangal (Chhardriripu), Young Chebulic Myrobalan (Balharitaki) – all systematically processed with the minerally rich layers found in the beds of rivers and lakes in certain pristine parts of India.

Ayurvedic Properties of Auromère’s Herbal Ingredients:

  • Amalaki (fruit) Emblic Myrobalan
    Antioxidant, astringent, cooling, soothing skin toner rebuilds and maintains new tissues. It cleanses the mouth, strengthens the gums and teeth, nourishes the bones, and is the highest natural source of Vitamin C.
  • Mango-Ginger (root) Karpura Haridra
    Has traditional uses in Ayurvedic medicine as an anti-inflammatory agent. It protects skin from atmospheric pollution, wrinkles and bacteria. Treats pimples, acne and blackheads and helps prevent and slow the growth of unwanted superfluous hair. Useful in swelling and pain management.
  • Pistacia integemima (gall) Karkarshrungi
    Is a vata kapha suppressant. It is anti-inflammatory and a blood-purifier. Useful in treating skin diseases.
  • Nut Grass (root) Njagamustak
    A kapha and pitta suppressant. Antibacterial, emollient, anti-fungal, demulcent, used for boils, sores and cleaning wounds. It is a good skin disorder healer and also helps in early healing of wounds.
  • Himalayan Silver Fir (leaf) Talispatra
    An essential volatile oil. Has strong antibacterial activity towards various pathogenic bacteria, helps in treating carbuncles.
  • Embelia tsenam (fruit) Vidang
    Anti/inflammatory. Recommended for fungus infections. Reduces kapha and vata. Can be used in the treatment of ringworm.
  • Sweet Flag (root) Vacha
    Used as an analgesic for the relief of toothache or headache, for oral hygiene to cleanse and disinfect the teeth. Anti rheumatic & anti arthritic, stimulates and increases the rate of blood circulation in the affected area and gives relief to pain and swelling. Antibiotic, can be used to treat external infections.
  • Bonduc nut (leaves, seeds) Kashtaki Karanj
    Antiseptic, anti-inflammatory. Used to treat toothache, skin diseases and leprocy.
  • Chebulic Myrobalan (fruit) Haritaki
    Antibacterial and anti-fungal. Used in the treatment of mouth ulcers, skin diseases, leprosy. Purifying and healing. Its decoction as a lotion is used as a surgical dressing for healing the wound earlier. Its powder is a good astringent dentifrice in loose gums, bleeding and ulceration in gums.
  • Beleric Myrobalan (fruit, leaf) Bibhitak
    Antiseptic, astringent. Paste used for pitta swellings, eye diseases and other inflamed parts.
  • Lesser galangal (rhizome) Chhardriripu
    Antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, anti-fungal. Valued traditionally for its skin protectant action. Has antimicrobial action and tyrosinase inhibitory functions, providing multifaceted benefits for acne elimination.
  • Young Chebulic Myrobalan (fruit) Balharitaki
    Highly active against a number of bacteria and fungi. Has strong anti-bacterial properties. It is revitalizing, toning, nourishing and astringent when used on skin.
