Neem Balm Ingredients

  • NEEM (Azadirachta indica) Ancient Ayurvedic texts site the use of neem in nearly 100 entries for treating a wide range of diseases and symptoms. The most common historical uses of neem were for treatment of skin diseases, inflammation and fevers. Modern research confirms many of the traditional benefits and has revealed new ones. A study of the oil’s analgesic potency found that it appears to work through both central and peripheral mechanisms to relieve pain. In addition, laboratory tests have shown that neem is effective against certain fungi that infect the body including athlete’s foot fungus and ringworm.

It balances both dry and oily skin, and is extremely effective on pimples, prickly heat, skin eruptions, itching, rashes, spots, freckles, inflammation, wrinkles and barber’s rash.
